This article has some brilliant simple contributions that everyone can do in order to help the efforts to reduce carbon emissions. Creating awareness as well as taking direct action will help combat deforestation.
My personal contribution would be to plant trees in Hong Kong! I will seek to plant 100 trees by the end of the year in order to do my part in tackling deforestation.
Whilst these personal contributions may not seem massive, if each and every person in the world accomplish a tiny bit, whether it be to do advocacy work or plant trees, change will eventually be visible.
Everyone should do their part. As the youth of the world, we have been given the opportunity to help preserve the environment for the next generation. We want them to be able to experience the great joys of nature as we did ourselves.
